Remote Mouse is developed and operated by Emote Interactive Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our mobile apps and desktop Helper applications.

Remote Mouse is designed to work primarily over your local network. Most control data stays only between your phone and your computer. We collect only the minimum data needed to provide functionality, stability, and account services.

By using Remote Mouse, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

If you create an account or use Remote Mouse Pro, we may process:

• Email address
• Password (securely hashed and never stored in plain text)
• Optional account identifiers (such as social login IDs, if supported)
• Subscription or purchase status (through RevenueCat)

RevenueCat does not receive your plain-text email unless explicitly configured by you. In Remote Mouse, we do not send your email to RevenueCat as the App User ID.

1.2 Device and App Information

To improve stability and understand app performance, we collect:

• Device model, operating system version, language, region
• App version and configuration
• Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Basic usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)

We do not collect:

• Your computer’s IP address
• Your computer name
• Keyboard or mouse content
• Screen content
• Clipboard data

1.3 Desktop Helper Information

The Remote Mouse Helper (Windows / macOS / Linux) may collect:

• Operating system information
• Crash logs, which are uploaded to Emote Interactive’s servers for troubleshooting

We do not collect or store:

• Keyboard or mouse input content
• Application usage on your computer
• Any LAN control data exchanged between the mobile app and the Helper

1.4 Log Data

Our servers maintain standard access logs when your app or Helper communicates with Emote Interactive servers.

These logs may include:

• Timestamp
• Request type
• IP address

Logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

2. Local Network Control Data

Remote Mouse works primarily over your own Wi-Fi or LAN.

• Control packets (mouse, keyboard, media controls, etc.) never pass through our servers.
• All communication between the mobile app and Helper is AES-encrypted.
• We cannot access, intercept, or store the content of these commands.

This design ensures that input and control data remain completely private to your devices.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data only for the following purposes:

• Providing core functionality (account access, subscription sync, app compatibility)
• Verifying purchases and Pro entitlements
• Improving performance and stability
• Detecting and fixing crashes or technical issues
• Sending essential service messages (if applicable)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

Remote Mouse integrates the following service providers:

• Google Play Services
• Google AdMob
• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
• RevenueCat (subscription management)

These services may process limited device identifiers as required for their functionality.

We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

5. Cookies

Remote Mouse mobile apps do not use cookies.

Some third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics or advertising.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Account data

If you delete your Remote Mouse account, we remove:

• Email address
• Account profile
• Subscription entitlement records
• Any server-stored identifiers associated with your account

Access logs

Automatically deleted after 30 days.

Crash logs

Stored only as long as necessary for troubleshooting.

7. International Data Transfers (GDPR Notice)

Some service providers (such as Firebase and RevenueCat) may process data outside the European Economic Area.

• Restrict or object to processing
• Request data portability

8. Children’s Privacy

Remote Mouse is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
